This wooden box is hand painted by local artist and Ground Gaia manager, Madison Vermilya. All her wooden boxes are handpainted with acrylic paint and sprayed with a varnish to prevent dust pickup, fading & cracking. 
 
Madison paints these keeping in mind what she loves for her own magical goods. The theme of this one is based on an elephant with its trunk up, which is a symbol of good fortune. It is paired with the flower of life, a universal symbol of life in sacred geometry that can be found throughout the world in nature, food, architecture and more. This box is great because it can be stood up to look like a book, can lay flat to carry your stones in it, or can be opened to see the full elephant face. All sides of the box are utilized!
