This is an original painting by Madison Vermilya, local artist, manager of Ground Gaia, as well as website designer, social media manager and other creative endeavors here at Ground Gaia. This is made with alcohol ink on Yupo Paper 9 x 12” and hung in an 11 x 14” black 1” frame. It is also drawn on with Indian ink using a calligraphy pen. Yupo paper is the best paper to hold alcohol inks and maintain these vibrant colors without fading! She loves using alcohol inks to come up with colorful abstract designs and seeing how the shapes can form into their own elements.
